Hi! I had surgery to help with incontinence but because of severe infection with the surgery, I am now told that the incontinence will be with me forever is there anything else I can try
I have had 7 children and pelvic floor excercise have not helped, I had the surgery and now things are worse than ever. My bladder leaks and when I have to go to the toliet my bladder does not empty fully. I am afraid to go out because of the problem. I always feel wet and the smell is very embarrasing. I want to know what i can do as the doctors at the hospital and even my own GP fob me off.

A great place for help is to contact the Continence Foundation of Australia. They have a helpline with trained advisors who can assist you. You can contact them on 1800330066 or visit them at www.continence.org.au.
In the meantime, you may find that Depend products can help keep you feeling dry. If you want something more discreet, you can also try Poise pads to keep you dry. Both Depend and Poise products have special Absorb-Loc particles to keep you dry and also lock odour away so that you will not have to worry about the smell.
