I (60) am the primary caregiver for my wife (66)who suffers from type 2 diabetes and other medical problems. She uses Depends Super Underwear at night as the bi-pap machine she uses makes her sleep through the night and wouldn’t wake if the house fell on her. I help her to bathe, change her, and again in the morning. She is mobile enough that she can look after her own needs during the day.
Alright, I am diabetic as well being diagnosed at ten and confirmed at thirteen after being cajoled and told I was lazy, i fooled them all I ended up in hospital. I enjoy fairly good health, or I did, until one day driving as I do for up to two hours from job site to job site I arrived with an uncontrollable need to urinate and actually lost some in my underwear on my mad dash to the Gents. This got steadily worse over a couple of months until it happened when I was waiting at check in counter at a resort my wife and I were staying at for a couple of days to the point where I went back to the car.
My Doctor doesn’t think its a problem knowing how healthy I am, after running every test known, just put it to age and diabetes. So I have been wearing the Depends I put on my wife as they were available as unisex until just recently in my area. So, unless the mens is far superior, I’ll continue to use the womens to save buying two lots of Depends as the womens don’t seem too far removed from the original unisex design.

Thanks for sharing your story with us. The Depend Underwear for Men has absorbency located where men need it most (further forward), whereas the Depend Underwear for Women has the absorbency located towards the middle.
The leg elastics are also uniquely designed to fit the shape of mens and womens bodies. If the women’s product works well for you, there should be no reason for you to have to change.
